1 Slide switch (right side of pager) down to turn on and up to turn off. Current time is displayed along with icons indicating features that are turned on.   2 Press top button to view messages. "CALL" is displayed if there are unread messages.   3 Press top button to display desired message. Press bottom button. "PrOtECt" is displayed. Press top button again to verify message is protected. Protect Icon will be displayed with message. ..........Message is now protected in memory. 4 Press top button to view protected messages. Protect icon is displayed. Press bottom button and then press top button to remove protect feature. 5 Press top button to display message to be deleted. Press bottom button 2 times. "dELEtE" is displayed. Press top button. "dELEtEd" is displayed. Message is now deleted from memory. 6 Turn pager off. All messages should be deleted. Follow these directions if messages are not deleted Turn pager off. Press and hold bottom button while turning pager on. Release bottom button. "dELEtE ALL" is displayed. Press top button. "dELEtEd ALL" is displayed.
